People say I have the "eye" when it comes to portraits. I enjoy bringing out the personality in addition to capturing the look. I am capable of producing a vast range of styles, from artistic to commercial. I usually prefer to work in black and white. When I do work in color, I prefer to use slide film, cross processed, to create negatives that have a punchy color/contrast image.

I have extensive experience in building model portfolios. Over the span of my career, I have built a solid reputation for the highest professionalism, putting the model at ease, and bringing out their unique personnae.

The photographer's ability to capture a moment without infringing upon it is essential. I prefer to follow the event in its entirety, capturing the subtle, candid shots, that are often overlooked, as well as the high points. I believe that this brings those who were unable to attend into the moment and holds the memory for those that were there.

I have been interested in aviation since childhood, when my grandfather would take me to the reserve base next to the Martin Marietta Aircraft Plant just outside Baltimore, MD. I had the opportunity to bring my talents in photography and aviation together as a Photographers Mate in the US Navy, working on the Tactical Air Reconnaissance Pod System (TARPS) for the F-14 Tomcat. This gallery features images from my time serving in the Navy and Navy Reserves as well as coverage of various airshows.
